CrystalTrade, a product powered by Crystalchain, is an all-in-one platform for CDR dMRV. The company calculates the net carbon impact of a project by tracking the carbon removed from the atmosphere and monitoring emissions throughout a project lifecycle.
The platform is split into two modules: the Traceability module, and the Lifecycle Analysis (LCA) module. The Traceability module ensures end-to-end monitoring of a project by tracking feedstock, production processes, and end use, while the LCA module quantifies a project's carbon footprint by calculating emissions at every stage.
Through this partnership, ClimeFi gains access to insights into CrystalTrade’s dMRV data to help inform its project Ratings and risk management models, enhancing its ability to give round-the-clock project insights and updates to CDR buyers.
