ClimeFi is pleased to share that it has partnered with a European Fortune Global 500 company to help shape and provide holistic support across the full lifecycle of its Carbon Strategy.
ClimeFi is acting as strategic advisor, procurement partner, and portfolio manager for the company, with the collaboration unfolding across three distinct phases: Planning, Procurement, and Portfolio Management.
Defining the strategy
To kickstart the process, ClimeFi supported the company with the mapping of its emissions to the relevant climate instruments including carbon dioxide removal (CDR), sustainable aviation fuel certificates (SAFc), and environmental attribute certificates (EACs), quantifying where each fits to address both in value chain and beyond value chain emissions.
Based on those results, ClimeFi built the company a year-by-year credit retirement plan, providing a roadmap of what to retire each year until its net-zero date, and what it will cost, aligned to the relevant standards and audit frameworks.
This process was broken down into five distinct workstreams:

With the strategy well defined, ClimeFi then designed and secured an optimised portfolio of solutions that balance cost, delivery risk, durability, and co-benefits. ClimeFi provides continuous monitoring, verification, transparency, and dashboards to track project performance and emerging risks.
